Another engagement session is hitting the blog today!

I met Lauren and Alex through my college network in the Jacksonville/Springfield area, and I am looking forward to their wedding day next year! These two are from a small town and had known of each other for years – running around in the same friend group but always too shy to every admit that they were interested in each other. Then, one night they ran into each other, and Alex finally asked Lauren out on a date. After that first date, Lauren told me that they have been nearly inseparable since. Now, they live together on Alex’s family farm with their two pups and cat. These two just love doing life together!

A few months ago, Alex proposed to Lauren when they were in the Wisconsin Dells celebrating both of their birthdays. Alex made Lauren think that it a proposal definitely wasn’t going to happen on the trip, and then it did! Lauren said it was a whirlwind of emotion… She was ecstatic! These two love spending time on the farm, spoiling their fur babies, and taking weekend getaways.

On the day of their engagement session, it was so fun to travel down to the farm and explore their neck of the woods. We had so many beautiful scenes to choose from that I told them there were almost too many good places! Though I think we made some fantastic choices from all of the options… And I think you’ll agree once you see the photos, too.
