Happy September!
Last Friday, I spent one of our last August mornings with Kylee and Dean for their engagement session! Back in November, I photographed Lauren and Eric’s wedding and met Kylee who was a bridesmaid. It was a fun, laid-back wedding party, and Kylee was just the sweetest!
Fast-forward to this spring… Guess who emailed me after getting engaged? Kylee! I was super excited to hear from her and to talk about the potential to work with her on their wedding day in June 2016. I am so thankful that everything worked out, her date was available, and that everything truly fell into place.
These two met through mutual friends almost one year ago, and shortly after, they knew they had found their forever. They are a fun-loving, kind-hearted couple, and a true joy to be around. Now, they’ve moved to South Carolina and started a new adventure! Their love is truly sweet.
Like I said, I was fortune enough to be asked to be their engagement and wedding photographer, and it’s a wonderful match. While they were home for Dean’s brother’s wedding this past weekend, they squeezed in time for their engagement session before fall schedules get too crazy. We spent our morning in Kentland, Indiana and at the park in Earl Park, Indiana.
I always help my couples plan their outfits, props, and session locations. I always want to ensure that they are as comfortable and relaxed as possible to make for a successful engagement session By Kara! Kylee and Dean call themselves “old souls”, and they love to do puzzles and play boardgames. It was so fun to incorporate these items into their session.
Our session ended at Don’s Drive-In in Kentland, Indiana with some fun (and messy) ice cream lovin’ photos. I LOVE when my couples are up for a little fun and my crazy ideas!
Kylee and Dean – You both were a joy to work with, and I cannot wait to photograph your wedding. Until then, enjoy these photos and happy wedding planning!
