This fall has been filled with so many amazing couples, and I’m loving it!

Meet Katie and Sebastian! I connected with this couple through my friend, Kate Spencer, and I am so thankful for that introduction.

Katie and Sebastian’s story goes back to when they were just kids… Sebastian is one of Katie’s best friend’s cousins, so she remembers seeing him at gatherings and birthday parties with her friend. Their crushes on each other started then, and they first “dated” in sixth grade – if that even counts, according to Katie, LOL! Later on, they started dating during Katie’s freshman year of high school. Since they started dating in high school, they have grown so much as a couple.Then this past March, Sebastian surprised Katie by proposing at a local vineyard. Like I always say, I love high school sweethearts!

This couple is so kind. They love to spend time with their families and friends, and they love to be goofy together and have fun!

A few months ago, we scheduled their fall engagement session in hopes of a beautiful fall evening with fall colors coming through. And you know what? We timed the season perfectly! The evening of their session was a bit chilly, but the fall colors and tones were in full swing. I loved meeting them in downtown Springfield and then heading over to Washington Park for the rest of their session.
