Kankakee Newborn Photographer | The Koch Family

It had been a little while since the Koch family had been in front of my camera, and this session was so sweet!

This holiday season, their family grew as they welcomed their third precious baby girl. Getting to document this new chapter was an honor. I have been photographing Holly and Kolton since their engagement, from wedding day to anniversaries to newborn and milestone sessions with each of their girls. They truly feel like family to me, and each session somehow just keeps getting better.

Baby Kambry was an absolute sweetheart for her session. Once she settled in, she was perfectly content being snuggled up in mommy and daddy’s arms. Those quiet, cozy moments are some of my favorites to capture, especially in those early newborn days that pass far too quickly.

Big sisters Kollyns and Kalena absolutely stole the show. They brought all the smiles, giggles, and personality, and they were amazing throughout the entire session. Watching them love on their new baby sister and step into their roles as big sisters was such a joy. Moments like that are exactly why I love photographing growing families.

It’s so fun to think about each of the three newborn sessions I’ve done for this family. Each of the girls has been wide awake for their newborn session! It’s been so sweet to see their similarities and differences in these early days.

After the session, I sent mom a sneak peek, and her response stopped me in my tracks. She said, “Awe, these are the best newborn session photos we’ve had. Perfect!” Messages like that never get old and mean more than I can put into words. Getting to preserve these memories for families who trust me year after year is truly one of the greatest honors of my job.
