I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Steele in my natural light studio in downtown Kankakee. My first session with the Steele family was one to remember!
This was their first session as a family of four, capturing beautiful moments with their adorable daughters, Willow and Rosie. It’s always an honor to witness and preserve these milestones, and I loved every minute spent with this sweet family. Sara, the mama of this amazing crew, is a talented local hairstylist and fellow small business owner. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Sara at weddings. This session was a full circle moment – what a joy to welcome Sara and her family into the studio.
One of the wonderful things about studio sessions is the simplicity and ease they bring. With perfect natural light and a comfortable, neutral environment, there’s no need to worry about tidying up at home for your family photos.
