Earlier this year, I photographed one of my favorite first looks to date on Katie and Jordan’s wedding day! These two shared a beautiful moment full of emotion, and Jordan’s reaction to his bride was so incredibly sweet! While I know sharing a first look is considered to be more “non-traditional” when it comes to wedding days, I truly feel as though they are becoming much more common.
Before I go any further with this “First Look Love” blog post, I want you to know that I LOVE all wedding days – first look or no first look. I’m promise I’m not sharing this post to encourage or discourage a first look, while I’m also not writing this to encourage or discourage a more traditional non-first look wedding day. I just want you to know that it’s YOUR day, and it’s up to what you two envision as a couple on your wedding day!
I just can’t help but share this love! And I’ll tell you this… I firmly believe that the moment the bride walks down the aisle is like no other moment on the wedding day or in your life together.
I enjoy photographing these first look moments as the couple has a few moments of undivided attention on their wedding day with one another – time for talking, hugging, kissing, and taking the day in together – all before the hustle and bustle of the day officially “starts”.
Isn’t this first look just the sweetest?!
