Jessica and I have known each other since junior high, so I was thrilled when she contacted me several months ago to schedule a session! I already knew that she would be a joy to work with as a photographer.

Before Jessica and Ashton’s couples session, Jessica told me that she thought it would be memorable and fun to have their photos taken every so often to see how they grow together. I have to say, I absolutely love and support this idea! What a meaningful way to see one’s relationship grow, change, and flourish.

On the day before their session, we had our first snow of the year, so the landscape was beautiful on the Sunday morning of their session. Next to the beauty of the snow and light, the temperature was only 18 degrees… This session is officially the coldest I have photographed this year yet, but these two were completely worth it!
