More engagement session goodness!
This season has been filled with amazing couples, and I’m honored to share a look at Heather and Austin’s engagement session here on the blog!
Heather and Austin met on a blind date through a mutual friend – Heather’s coworker and Austin’s childhood best friend. That date was two years ago, and these two haven’t looked back since! A few months ago, Heather and Austin made the move from Champaign to the small town of Paxton, Illinois, and Austin proposed to Heather on closing day for their new home! I love it!
These two are super sweet and perfectly fit together. They are giggly, kind, and love to spend time with each other and their families. And of course, you can find them enjoying Star Trek, board games, and bike rides together, too.
A few weeks ago, I met these two in downtown Paxton for their engagement session. What was supposed to be an extremely windy afternoon led to a delightful afternoon + gorgeous fall sunset with minimal wind… We were thankful! I loved starting the session in downtown Paxton and exploring the local textures with these two. It was so special to meet their daughter Annaliese at the session, too. After the urban photos, we loaded up and traveled to Middle Fork River Forest Preserve to finish the session. And my, oh my, did I love this location – the light, the couple, and everything else was perfect. Plus, we even caught some of the fall colors that were still peeking through!
Enjoy a few favorites from this engagement session – I’m so excited for Heather and Austin’s February wedding!
