I’ve been LOVING all the engaged couples in front of my lens lately! And this Lake Renwick engagement session is no exception!
Meet Julie and Paul! Their story goes back over six years ago when family introduced them. They hit it off and starting dating! Then last year, Paul completely surprised Julie with a proposal… She was completely surprised and not expecting it since she wasn’t feeling well and was snuggled in sweatpants and an old t-shirt ready to rest and watch a movie. Little did she know, Paul had a better plan! Julie told me it was the best, most genuine proposal she could have imagined.
These two found my work through a friend, Lauren, at Lauren Elizabeth Bridal! And I’m so thankful for that connection! Over the past months, I’ve loved getting to know Julie and Paul as we planned details for their engagement session and upcoming wedding day. They’re the sweetest couples and rolling with all the coronavirus craziness and changes with so much grace and grit. Because hey, they’re gonna be married so soon and that’s what counts!
On the evening of their engagement session, I met up with Julie, Paul, their new pup Nelly, and their friend AKA dog whisperer, Andrew. We all had a blast! We explored Lake Renwick and were thankful for an overcast evening that let us shoot just about anywhere we wanted. These two (and Nelly, of course!) were naturals in front of the camera. And if you know me, then you can probably guess that I was gushing over Nelly’s cuteness throughout the entire session. Photographing Julie and Paul’s engagement session makes me that much more excited for their October wedding day!
