We are feeling ALL the fall vibes! I loved this fall Keepataw Forest Preserve engagement session with Marissa and Ben!

I connected with this couple not too long ago after Marissa found my work on Pinterest while looking for a Chicagoland photographer! You see, these two met six years ago on a dating app. After talking for three months, they finally mustered up the courage to meet in person at a local bar in Long Beach, CA. Fast forward to this past July when Ben proposed to Marissa at that very dive bar where they had their first date. Over the past few months, these two have had big life changes… From getting engaged and shifting jobs to moving across the country from California to Illinois – it’s been busier than ever but these two have leaned on each other through it all! Now, they’re getting settled in Chicagoland, spoiling their three pups, and starting the wedding planning process.

On the day of their engagement session, we were beyond thankful for the gorgeous 70-degree fall weather. I  mean, come on! How did we get so lucky?! We started the session with photos of Marissa, Ben, and their three pups before moving to Keepataw Forest Preserve for more fall vibes and photos. These two hadn’t really been photographed together before their engagement session, so it was an honor to photograph them! All in all, this session was just so so good!
