Happy dancing as I share Alessandra and Jake’s fall Illinois College engagement session on the blog!
I attended undergrad with Alessandra and Jake, so when they reached out as they starting planning their wedding day – I was honored! These two are so kind, sweet, and in love with each other.
This couple’s story goes back to Illinois College, too – love it! They met as students on campus and had mutual friends through their literary societies, Gamma Delta and Phi Alpha. They started dating the fall semester of junior year and became very close that summer. Since then, they’ve grown closer and closer and more in love every day! In August 2017, Alessandra and Jake moved to Florida. That Christmas, Jake proposed while they were taking a walk on the beach! It was their first big holiday in Florida without any family or friends, and Alessandra loves Christmas… So it was just perfect!
For their Illinois College engagement session, it only made perfect sense to go back to the place where it all started… The Illinois College campus! I loved being back on the hilltop with these two and exploring our favorite campus spots for photos. Their pup, Stella, also made her first visit to campus, too! And we were so, so thankful for a gorgeous early October day for this session while these two were visiting from Florida. We even started to see some hints of fall throughout campus. Everything came together perfectly!
