I love Chloe and Kyle! This fall season has been full of so many wonderful weddings along with engagement sessions, and my time with Chloe + Kyle was nothing short of AMAZING as well! Despite the weather ups and downs, this season has been beautiful. And I’m finding ways to look beyond some of the dreary days and weather reschedules to simply remind myself that this season is truly beautiful in it’s own unique way!

I remember meeting Chloe and Kyle when I started attending Illinois College (oh yes, say HELLO to all my fav IC couples this fall!), and I remember thinking how sweet they were together! These two met during their early days as freshman at college, but they did not start dating until the middle of their junior year in 2013. Then, in December 2016, Kyle proposed to Chloe while they were on vacation in Cozumel, Mexico right before Christmas. He arranged for the resort photographer to “photograph them at sunset”, and Chloe told me she thinks she told him “YES” to the proposal before he even get down on his knee… I LOVE IT!

These two were incredibly lucky for a gorgeous, I mean absolutely gorgeous, fall day for their engagement session! We started the session in downtown Springfield (these two grew up in the area, so it was especially fitting!), moved to the Abraham Lincoln homestead, and rounded out the session at Centennial Park in Springfield at sunset. All in all, this session was a dream! From Chloe’s gold sparkly dress and buffalo plaid top – a girl after my heart LOL – to these two lovebirds with the sweetest personalities… They made my job the easy part!
