Today, I am happy to share Anna and Geoff’s downtown Chicago engagement session with you!

These two met over four years ago at work when Anna was a new nurse and Geoff was a surgery resident, and their love story began! Anna and Geoff first reached out to me back in April, and I have loved getting to know these two over the past months. Plus, it is so incredible to me that Anna’s sister, a hairstylist I worked with at a previous wedding, connected us… Eeek! These are my favorite parts of my job!

With their wedding taking place outside of the city, I LOVED that Anna and Geoff wanted their engagement session to take place in the city and the place they call home. It was also so perfect to incorporate Milton Olive Park near Navy Pier into their session as these two love this running spot and it brings them back to their early days of dating and getting to know one another. The forecast on the day of their session was not promising, but with our crazy schedules, we decided to go for it! To our surprise, the sun even came out during their downtown Chicago session… But the session did end with a torrential downpour and all of us soaking wet — SO worth it!
