You guys… I have been praying for snowy sessions and it FINALLY happened that we had enough snow to shoot in!

Holly and I planned back in November that when we got “enough” snow this winter, we were going to take photos of her and her little lady. Well, most of us know how unpredictable Illinois winters and Illinois weather in general is, so we waited, waited, and waited some more.

We were about ready to say, “enough is enough” (like that play on words?), and take wintertime photos without snow!

But, two weeks ago, we got our SNOW! Yay! Holly and I were watching the weather and texting back and forth, hoping that the weather forecast would actually happen…

When it did, we set out for photos that Sunday morning and it was even gently snowing for our entire session.

Talk about a snowy dream.

We had been waiting for this.

Her little girl Lilly was adorable in the snow and loved twirling around catching the falling snow, as you’ll see below.
