This fall and early winter have been full of family sessions and I am loving it! It is so fun to watch different families and spend an hour of their day with them interacting and just having fun! At these family photography sessions, I’ve been trying to capture real personalities and moments between husband and wife, brothers and sisters, and parents and children. I am finding this so incredibly rewarding this season.

Ericka contacted me at the very beginning of November to schedule a surprise session so that she and her brother could gift photos of their kiddos to their parents for Christmas. The session idea ending up growing into an extended family session including kids, parents, and grandparents!

This bunch was a lot of fun to work with and the kids were up for all of my ideas – which I LOVE! It is so important to capture these moments in our lives, and I was thrilled to do this for the ZumMallen family!
