This fall engagement session at the Kankakee River State Park has my heart!
Meet Gillian and Bobby! I met these two this past summer after they found my work on Instagram. We hit it off from the start (hi fellow high school sweethearts!) and have been gushing about their engagement session and wedding day ever since. It’s such a joy to be able to capture this season in life for them!
Gillian and Bobby we met in high school math class when Gillian was a junior and Bobby was a senior. They got engaged earlier this year in Kansas City in a garden full of beautiful fountains. Gillian’s two best friends live there and helped plan and coordinate the proposal with Bobby. Gillian was completely surprised in the best way possible! Now, they’re planning their September 2024 wedding day!
Throughout the past few months, we’ve been planning the details for Gillian and Bobby’s engagement session. Gillian has been all in on planning since the start (my heart!) and we’ve had so much fun selecting locations, the overall vibe, and outfits together. When I tell you that my clients become friends so easily, this is where it starts!
On the day of their engagement session, we had a beautiful overcast fall day at the Kankakee River State Park. I’m so glad that Gillian and Bobby traveled my way for photos because we had the most gorgeous fall colors on the day of their session. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening or scenery! I loved showing them around the Kankakee River State Park and sharing some of my favorite photo spots with them. All in all, this was such an amazing engagement session!
I’m so very excited for Gillian and Bobby’s wedding day next year!
