More fall engagement photos are hitting the blog! I loved this session with Elaine and Chris in Lincoln Park!
Meet Elaine & Chris! These two reached out to me at the beginning of October in search of a photography and videography team for their wedding day next year. We connected from the start, and it’s an honor to document their engagement and wedding day!
Their love story goes back to grade school. They met in fourth grade and went to school together until eighth grade. But they didn’t know each other well back then… Fast forward to four and a half years ago, they ran into each other at a bar in Lincoln Park. The rest is history!
This past summer, Chris proposed to Elaine at North Avenue Beach with the skyline behind them. Now, they’re planning their September 2023 wedding day at a Chicagoland favorite of ours, CD&ME.
After booking their wedding day, Elaine and I jumped into planning their engagement session! In the most serendipitous way, all the details fell together and we were able to plan their engagement session while still catching the fall colors.
We met at the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk to start their session. I loved that their engagement session took place in Lincoln Park where they met. The icing on the cake? We made our way to North Avenue Beach for their second location, too. This photographer totally encourages (and loves!) meaningful locations that connect to each couple’s relationship… It makes the session and photos that much more special!
Elaine and Chris have the kindest hearts, and we had a blast at their engagement session in Lincoln Park – laughing, talking, and getting to know each other better. And you know that I love a reason to gush over wedding details, so you better bet we did that, too!
