Oh hello to the month of December and the holiday season!
This year has been a whirlwind for many. I’m thankful we made it here to the holiday season and looking forward to recharging our batteries this winter after wedding season wraps up in two weeks! The holiday season makes my heart happy, and gosh, I just love this time of the year. There’s truly magic in the Christmas and holiday spirit in the air!
In our regular routine of monthly recaps, let’s take a look back at November as we get even more excited for the new month and upcoming holidays… Here are some highlights from our month of November!
- Traveling to photograph a beautiful wedding in Bogotá, Colombia, and spending a week exploring the country with family
- Photographing our niece Sofia as a flower girl for the first time
- Sharing our studio with local photographers and our lovely clients
- Visiting our niece Pix, obsessing over the Barbie exhibit, and celebrating my SIL’s birthday
- Photographing many fall sessions to catch the last of the fall colors and a local Kankakee County wedding day
- Enjoying Thanksgiving #1 with my family (also read: baking AND eating all the pies!)
- Spending Thanksgiving #2 with Kyle’s family and our nephews
- Taking our annual trip to the tree farm and decorating for Christmas
Looking ahead to the month of December, we’re wrapping up the 2022 wedding season with two more wedding days. We will round out this year’s wedding season with 29 weddings under our belts! Then, our sessions start winding down for the year before we are out of the office over the holidays.
