Sometimes you just have to get your hands dirty…

And Trevor did just that! Trevor’s three year old session really brought me back to center and reminded me why I do what I do.

You see, photographing times in life – children, families, weddings, and everything in between – are perfectly imperfect. Photographs of these times truly represent you and yours during these fun, exciting, and even ordinary days throughout your life. Sometimes your toddler is squirmy or your teenager won’t smile, but these are bits and pieces of life that are so important that you will soon come to miss.

Trevor’s session brought me back to this.

Trevor is all boy. He wants to ride tractors, play trains, and dig in the mud. So, we rode tractors, played with trains, and dug our fingers in the mud… All the while capturing him in his element at three years old doing what he loves.
