Girlfriend, are you at a point in your business where you feel like your next moves or decisions could make or break you? Do you want to grow your business while working smarter (and maybe less)? Do you find yourself playing the comparison game when you look at other female creatives? Are you trying to establish systems and create content for your business? Do you struggle with work-life balance? Are you too close for comfort to feeling burned out? If you said YES to any one of these, I’ve got you!
If there’s one thing I hate more than cream cheese frosting, it’s mentors that have no desire to cultivate community in the creative industry. When I started my business, I wasn't connected to a creative community like I am today… Until all that changed when I put myself out there. You see, these creative pals of mine are the type that will text back and forth deciding whether a color or black and white photo is our favorite, that always reply to your ridiculous IG stories, that will support you in the most exciting and most terrifying moments of your business, that will drop everything to have a lunch date or drink when you're in town, and that will have the most fun on a rooftop at sunset photographing each other's headshots. My heart didn't know it needed a kind, confident, and close knit community of female creatives when I started this business... And now it's one of the very things my life and business can't live without. So yes, I believe in community over competition with my whole heart.
Lightroom Classic CC (hey photogs!) and a task timer (hey lady bosses!)... I love the streamlined, less stress workflow that Lightroom allows me to have, and my task timer keeps me on track while I accomplish my daily to-do list, big or small!
Since starting my business in 2013, I’ve grown my business through successes and failures. Now, in my 8th year of business, I feel called to share what has helped me grow as a female creative, but in a one-on-one, completely personal and encouraging way. I believe business is business and that all kinds of creatives can learn from each other. I’m passionate about helping other female creatives thrive in their businesses. I was at a place once, too, where I felt too close for comfort to reaching my breaking point and letting my business control every aspect of my life. Over the past seven years, I’ve grown my business by 1000% in gross revenue, and I’ve implemented systems into my business that I want to share with you! Business mentoring goes hand-in-hand with my goal of fostering community over competition. And that’s why 1:1 mentoring is the icing on the cake!
Once you’re ready to take the cake, all contracts, invoices, and booking appointments take place online. A $200 nonrefundable retainer is due to secure a spot on my calendar. From there, we start digging in and getting to know you and your business. Your remaining balance is due on the day of our first 1:1 mentoring session. Easy peasy!
Thanks for asking! I love working with female creatives in-person AND virtually via video calls. The beauty of mentoring is that this isn't one size fits all... So if local works for you - we can absolutely do it. If you're local to Kankakee County or Chicagoland, I would just LOVE to work with you in-person over coffee, cupcakes, or wine at one of our favorite local spots! Just be sure to let me know you're local when you inquire here, and we can work out all the details together.
I'm so glad you asked, girlfriend! Feel free to click over to contact me, and we can start the conversation! I'm so happy you're considering investing in 1:1 business mentoring... I can't wait to share more about the experience with you!
