Just over two weeks ago, I had a senior session with a soccer player from Watseka Community High School! Goodness, the weather was amazing, and the light… EVEN better!

At the start of the session, I met Nate and his mom, Brenda, for the first time after talking with Brenda throughout the past few months while planning this session. They were both very welcoming and excited for the session! 

As I photographed Nate, I enjoyed learning about his love for playing soccer, his family and friends, and his plans after college. He told me how a friend encouraged him to try soccer in high school, and things just clicked! Over the past few years, he’s enjoyed playing the sport, so I loved finishing the session at his soccer field at sunset.
